Thai Reteil
Our design concept, called "Thai Retell", reinterprets traditional Thai elements to fit the modern context. We incorporated a facade that blocks sunlight, provides privacy, and reduces noise, while still allowing airflow into the building. Local materials like terracotta tiles are used to enhance the design.
The interior emphasizes simplicity with light gray tones, showcasing the authenticity of the materials. The decor is soothing, perfect for relaxation. Ventilation panels known as "Chim Jae" are used to allow air circulation throughout the day, minimizing the need for air conditioning. Additionally, indoor greenery helps trap and filter dust before it enters the building, making it suitable for urban environments.

Project Type : House
Size / Area : 150 sq.m

Currently, we live in a townhouse that lacks proper ventilation, forcing us to over-rely on air conditioning. This has led to a decline in both our health and quality of life. We realized the need for a home designed with a focus on the residents' well-being and culture.
